It doesn't end well... In fact, it almost never ends well when a prophecy is defied and when laws are broken. It is tradition, it is an unbreakable and irrevocable tradition. Every 500 hundred years a werewolf must mate with someone of Amaris blood and this time it is the werewolf prince Caspian's turn to find and mate the last Amaris blooded human. Fortunately or un...fortunately Caspian murders a Vampire which causes the Vampire Prince Dagon to spin out of control. Dagon is known for his strength, impulsiveness and sick nature. He doesn't attack Caspian but seeks out the one thing that would not only wreck Caspian but the entire werewolf clan. He seeks out the girl...the last Amaris blooded human. Daphne of course was clueless about her family origins.
