After seeing off the victims of an unfortunate tragedy, the architect of the Red Tree returns home at the behest of a vague letter to find one of the society's eldest matrons fussing over the undead corpse of a boy. Disturbed by this discovery, the architect launches an investigation that plummets him into strange, dark, tides of a questionable underground operation and on the shores of something much more terrifying than a cult...
