"And because nobody -least of all my dad- really understands being a writer can be a job, a heated exchange would ensue. And then he will ask me if I know any current generation writer (not the Ngugis and the Mejas) who is living the 'good' life. I will want to tell him about Ted Malanda.

But then I'm not sure he really owns those airplanes he snapchats in every time. He is so cool though. Then I'll think of Jackson Biko, he wrote another novel called THURSDAYS (I haven't read it. Financial crisis, long story). Surely he can't be doing that bad. You can't write two successful novels and still not live a good life. But I would still lose this argument anyway. Throwing my arms up in defiance, I will tell him how this is my life, I choose what to do with it. And as they would tell me, I will graduate when I want.

But before then, I must become the caretaker of Plot, and then later on, I'll consider the student union Secretary-General position comrades have been pushing me for. Nyaky this duty is not yours. Prepare to be ousted. To the members of Plot, I'm telling them to believe not in my ability to bring change but in theirs, that where we are many we are one, to those who will stand with Nyaky, we will defeat them! (Yeah yeah I know you think I sound like Obama but isn't it obvious? We're related dimwit!) And to those whom might stand with me through that noble quest, may they find peace, happiness and fulfilment."
Enjoy.

Featured by @Romance .·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·. "Why do you make these paper flowers?" He asked, looking at her through the mirror. "They don't wither like the real ones." She replied, aligning the entire bunch of paper flowers. "But they don't have the fragrance." He politely challenged her. He was a soldier. Chivalrous was his middle name. "These paper flowers, they stay with you for as long as you want. You don't really have to throw them away like people discard the real ones. They pluck them for the fragrance and colors. But once that fades, they throw it away." She said, finally looking up at him. "Not everyone!" He added almost immediately, taking one more step forward. It could be his height or his longer stride, or maybe the room was too small as it only took him two steps to reach her. "Yeah! Of course! Exceptions are there, like poets and people in love." She walked in a different direction, putting those flowers on the table. He rolled his eyes with a defeated sigh. She was a teacher. Arguing with her was as futile as making a sand castle on a seashore. "You know, gone is the era when people used to preserve the flowers of their loved ones. We don't have people like that anymore!" She said as she faced him. "We don't have that kind of love anymore." He said looking straight into her eyes. She held his gaze through the mirror for a while, trying to read through him. "I agree." Murmuring under her breath, she turned around. Taking a deep breath, watching her retreating figure, he brought out his favorite poetry book from the shelf. After he was sure she was not looking, he ruffled through the pages till he found a dried Hibiscus. The very same one which had fallen from her bag when he first saw her. With a small smile, he cautiously caressed the petals. He closed the book with a fond sigh and found her looking at him. She couldn't hold his gaze for long and looked down, crimson covering her cheeks. He shook his head with a chuckle.

This book conveys philosophy and values for modern issues that undermine today's generation world and their inner voices atmosphere, combined with spices of solitude, cognitions and emotions from a young man that he tries to communicate regarding all its aftermaths and possibilities. Including compendium about daily basis and collisions that he saw through many eyes and theatrical society, which he hopes can become a good reference for those who seek a place for serenity and assessment in a world where life requires everyone to find common sense and confine many voices of speculation. Each chapter in this book possesses a small fraction about his life, which leads to one question...what kind of person he is?. Why is "Talking Serenity" worth reading? 1. Ins and outs of the Modern World's Atmosphere The male character/figure that is told in this writing has a lifestyle background that likes to be alone (Introvert), who loves to observe human relations and tends to be traditional in establishing closeness with other people in his modern world. However, as time progressed, what he had inside of him slowly became worry and indecision in the eyes of many people. The increasing inner confusion of his generation that surrounds his steps in the modern world, of course, is not something that is easily ignored by him as a human being who still acquires traditional values in his soul. 2. Nurturing Culture This writing attaches various possibilities and probabilities to an event in the future when the generation of humans who reign/control today's world do not have good competence, cognition and emotional stability in setting boundaries, respecting and appreciating. The presence of traumatic personal experiences and several clauses related to culture that have been passed down from previous generations, of course, can support the importance of discussing this theme.

Even though I knew he couldn't hurt me right now it still didn't calm the storms of fear brewing in my chest. "Never." My voice was low but firm. I was proud of myself for controlling the tremble in my voice. "Eh? Never you say? You will regret that little Alexia. I hear you made friends with a girl. I shall see if her will power is as strong as yours." With that his figure whooshed away and I was left alone with my thoughts. The seed blossomed into a full blown tree and squeezed my lungs until there was no air left to breathe. They thought they could have a normal life. The past belongs in the past. Right? But they have demons in their past and their future. No matter how much they repress them, they would always haunt them. After all the heirs to The Dark Lord don't get to have a normal life.
