Prince Devon has become a great commander at age 21. He uses his gift as an advantage in wars and win the battles. 

His life revolves around protecting the kingdom, helping the people, and enjoying his freedom... but it didn't last long, His father passes the throne to the eldest son Dregor Loctorsuz, at age 113 he became a King... with his beloved wife, Queen Safarah Linn.
His younger brother also have a glimpse of her  half only at the age 88 while traveling the world as he was task to make an alliance and connection to their peace and benefits.
Him? He become cold and proper for deep inside he envy them. They have someone who can calm and gives desires to their heart. He wanted to be weak and be cared as he goes back from the war. He wanted someone who he can hold at night and make him feel wanted as he is. He wanted to show his gentleness and love for his half. At the age of 94, he is still alone. 

Vampire usually meet their half at ages 50. They have slow aging, their purpose first is to prove themselves to the kingdom as good citizens before finding love and happiness.

Most years it was a woman, one year it was a man. It has been six years since the beginning and winter is coming, after yet another short spring. It is time for another masquerade.
