It's late. Very late. Sweat oozes from her skin as she strolls through the dark alleyway. She's weird. Unusual. Traumatised by her husband's death, she struggles to ignore his continuous hammering memories that float through her mind. His smile. His laugh. The strong wind blows her hair as she suddenly wishes she tied it up this morning. She's been wishing she had done a lot of things differently, lately. Like not stabbing her husband in the neck. But some things you just can't resist, can you? It's not her fault she enjoys the soft feeling of a sharp knife slowly sinking into the skin of the flesh, now is it? This book portrays the in depth storyline- the perception of the lifestyle of our protagonist, Fallon Hanson. With elements of death, super nature, as well as gothic realisation, we unveil the story arc regarding this narcissistic socialite, who urges to make amends for her depression, by destroying the lives of those who destroyed hers. With lack of inner peace, our protagonist believes she'll receive it by taking pleasure in seeking revenge for the wrongdoings of others, through violence, brutality and savagery. The central conflict revolves around the criminal and vicious acts taken within this book, and the continuous friction between Fallon Hanson, and her husband, Damari Richards who serves as our second main protagonist. Fallon believes the stakes to receive the inner tranquillity she deeply craves results in the harmful gestures taken towards others, as her morals and beliefs oppose natural ethnic codes in society, due to starvation of primary socialisation.

She felt his surprise. She felt his light extinguish as he died. Then there was nothing. Nothing. Her head was swimming like it was underwater. She couldn't move. She couldn't move. Her vision blurred, a man was speaking but she couldn't hear his words. She felt the sword in her chest, but it wasn't there. He killed him. He killed him. Breathe. Did she stop? Breathe. The man, she could hear him speaking. What was he saying? Breathe. She inhaled a deep breath. And another. Then another. Things started to clear. "Breathe. That's right," the warrior coaxed. She started to take another settling breath, and his face came more into focus. The first thing she noticed was his piercing green eyes. She had never seen eyes quite like that before. She stared into them, mesmerized. He mimicked a breath and she took it with him. She was coming back. "I will not hurt you," the man kneeling before her promised. Anna knew better than to believe him. What was it he had said? Oh. "You...you said...you said 'no witnesses'." She was shaking violently. She took another deep breath. "Ah, " he uttered in acknowledgment. "You are not a witness, you are the treasure
