Marcella had always known she had five brothers, but she never wanted something to do with them; they were raised by man who cheated on her mom and broke her heart before deciding that he didn't want anything to do with her, casting her out and divorcing her, leaving her to raise the child she was carrying by herself.
It's been 16 years since then, and they were both happier than ever. Her mother had finished her degree and had started up her own Veterinary clinic, which was considered to be the best in the town they called home. Marcie was succeeding in all her classes, had an amazing group of friends, and was as happy as she could be (even if she had an absolute witch of a teacher); that is until her mother mysteriously goes missing.
Without warning, or anytime to come to terms on what's happening, she's being forced to move in with the people she's hated her entire life, the people who call themselves her brothers. But as time progresses how can Marcie continue to hate the people who only want the best for her, and care about her possibly even more than her own mother? The more time that passes Marcie finds herself growing closer and closer to them, and even begins to care for them; after all they're not her father, but even they have secrets to keep, and some of them involve the truth on what really happened between her parents. They know, and Marcie wants to find out.
