A mysterious woman with a terrible curse, going by the name of Lex, is hired by Mother Miranda as a servant to the Four Lords. She is sent to House Beneviento and meets The Dollmaker herself, Donna Beneviento.
But after the unexpected occurs, will the Four Lords and Lex have the strength to go against Mother Miranda, despite Lex's debt to her? And how will Lex and Donna's relationship twist and contort?

Thanks to Mother Miranda you now work with a semi-delusional, old woman named Angie for the mysterious Lord Beneviento. You discover that no one has heard, seen, or spoken to this lord and you start to question if they even exist. After that encounter you start to feel as though you are being watched, and use that to your advantage to maybe lure this allusive lord out into the open.
