Angel lives in a society where human/animal hybrids are common. Many, many years ago there was a worldwide bombing that released green gas containing a substance that bonded human and animal. (Human base with ears, tails, and animal traits.) Carnivores are watched carefully, while herbivores have a higher ranks. Angel's always been treated poorly, avoided due to his aggressive behavior. What'll happen when a friendly cheetah, and a brooding deer suddenly approach him?

The beautiful angel walks up to me and looks at me lovingly. A year ago, I would have been disgusted but now his gaze was doing things to me, things I didn't want, FEELINGS I wasn't ready for. My knees buckle under the gaze of his beautiful golden eyes. He smiles and at this point, he's standing right in front of me, so close he could probably hear my heart beating so erratically in my chest. Thump-thump He lifts his hand and touches my cheek oh so softly, his thumb brushing against my jawline. I let out a breath at the amazing feeling, Thump THUMP sparks flying through my skin. His broken smile
Aisha wasn't a generous person, nor was she like her best friend, who adopted strays. Shadow could easily take all her problems away, but Melody refuses to take the easy way out. That is, until she just couldn't take it anymore, she takes Shadow's offer and soon her life got better. Her bullies started disappearing, showing up dead in the woods. Their bodies badly mutilated, almost unrecognizable. Life at school started getting better, she finally had human friends and even a boyfriend. Her "father" was found dead at her house. The torture had finally ended.
