A human with rainbow coloured eyes and an unusual inability to feel emotions is kicked out of her house with the sole mission of finding that demon. If she cannot kill him, she cannot go back home.
Yet when she meets the demon with similar rainbow eyes and a habit of faking emotions to cover up his apathy, she can't help but feel attached to him due to similarities in their personalities.
After a meeting with the progenitor of demons, Kibutsuji Muzan, she makes a deal with him: if she can kill Kamado Tanjiro, Muzan will let her live with the demons as a human.
