Emma Seering is a normal ten-year-old girl who goes to school at Bayview Elementary. But all is not as it seems. For years, strange things had been happening around her, most of which she thought had nothing to do with her. Once, when she was five years old, a flower pot blew up when she touched it. But one day, when visiting he Sistine Chapel in Italy with her family, she finds a crack in the seemingly flawless ceiling. She's sucked in. Emma finds herself in a strange and beautiful world, full of mythical creatures and kids, just like herself. Here in this magical world, Emma must team up with her new friends, and as a whole, strike down the threat to her new home.
