Sato had always known that life wasn't like a manga. No one had a redemption arc that actually changed them. Foreshadowing wasn't a given, but instead you had to force yourself to piece it together in the end. And the biggest one; happy endings weren't real. Nothing ever ended up the way you wanted it to.
