Chase Tallman was an ordinary boy in an ordinary life, he has a sister, and he has a crush on Tami Collins, all is fine, until he got his palm read. The palm reader says he's got powers and Tami is going to die. 

He doesn't believe her, of course. But then again, he never believed in palm reading much, either. But when the plane crash, and all his family is dead except him and his dog, Baxter, maybe the palm reader knew what she was doing, after all.
