Her witch power was so powerful even before she became a vampier that Dahlia wanted her power all to herself.

Even though she already had Freya she desired Faith power more then Freya's magic.

She made a trade with Micheal for his daughter for Faith. Since Faith was not his biological daughter he had no problem trading Faith off for Freya.
