The Willow Tree's bright blue leaves shimmered and swayed in the peaceful breeze. It's bark croaked as a storm riled up in the distance.
A soft, silver leaf fell off the brown tree and flew down at rapid speeds. Landing on a log, it took form of a small, fragile spirit.
Its black eyes slowly rolled open as it took a breath.
Its journey had begun...

The source, an opinionated tree spirit named Dogwood, claims she accidentally stepped into Ginna's body. But now that the spirit has access to Ginna's thoughts and memories, she's in no hurry to go back where she belongs. Until Ginna figures out that Dogwood is hiding information about her mom. Now it's Ginna who doesn't want to let go. She has so many questions-but there's no time to wait for the stubborn spirit to answer. Ginna's body is becoming dangerously depleted and can no longer sustain Dogwood's energy. She'll have to find the courage to stand on her own before possession burnout destroys them both.Complete

Fending for herself, she stumbled upon a willow tree, it's branches reaching out for her. Soothing her pain, it took her in. Soon everyone flocked to catch a glance of the willow maiden, building a small town around her. She blessed the earth that they walked on, and they showed gratitude. A man pulled her from the willow tree, her hair withered to a dark black her eyes burned red. Trapped in a tower a sudden fire broke out burning the tower, as the willow tree wept flooding the town.
