Its the outbreak of WW1 and England are recruiting men from 16 years of age.
Will is being recruited and has a week left in England before he is to join the great war.
Anna and Will spend the last week together and end up falling in love.

As she endures:longing, struggle,hope and fight as she waits for her soldier to come home.
