"Did you want a half-tank or a full-tank, darling?" He asked, tipping his hat towards her in a greeting.

"Half-tank, please."

"Sure thing, doll."

Shirley Davis moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma from Denver, Colorado to get away from the busy uptown life. She moved on to the Eastern side of town where the Greasers ruled since she couldn't afford to live on the West side. There, she met Sodapop Curtis at the gas station he worked at. He was the most attractive man Shirley had ever seen.

When she also becomes friends with a sweet Johnny Cade, she realizes how small her new town is as she constantly runs into who everyones calls 'the sweetheart Greaser'.

With the exception of Pony, no one was closer to Charlotte than Johnny Cade. From the moment they met at the bus stop on her first day of kindergarten and his first day of second grade, they were inseparable and could understand each other with just a look. Johnny was exactly a year and a half older than the twins, and about a year younger than Soda. Due to their birthdays, Soda and Johnny were in the same grade, but he always would ask for Charlotte and Pony when he came over to play. When he was alive, Darrel Curtis Sr. would teasingly call Johnny his son-in-law when people asked who he was in relation to the family. Johnny and Charlotte would both get bright red while the brothers would laugh, with their mom telling her husband to lay off. Johnny's parents were both drunks and rarely paid him any attention unless it was to beat him, so he practically lived at the Curtis household until the accident, and now he spent more time at the lot, not wanting to add more financial strain to Darry. "I've missed you," Charlotte muttered. "I never left, Lottie," Johnny responded, finally releasing her and urging her to walk, not wanting to be out for any longer than necessary. He knew exactly what she was talking about, but he couldn't tell her the real reason why he was spending less and less time with her. Johnny Cade X OC Curtis sister TW: some descriptions of violence, blood, sexual assaults, fights, etc.

Zara-Mae Valance, the quiet younger sister of Sherri 'Cherry' Valance, has always been forgotten, hidden by her sisters bold personality. That all changed when a group of greasers rushed into the Tulsa Community Hospital carrying a delirious Ponyboy Curtis, who was in the same class as Zara. Everyday the gang, Darrel Curtis, Two-Bit Matthews, and Steve Randle would come and go, either for work, or for other reasons, leaving Sodapop Curtis behind. Everyday, Zara and Soda would talk, and the more Zara got to know Soda, the harder she fell. Then, 2 weeks later, Ponyboy got discharged, and Soda stopped talking to Zara. After a while of not talking, Zara began to think that maybe, just maybe, she imagined it all... (BOOK COVER IDEA BELONGS TO RILESWRITINGS)
