The Fallen, Demigods born out of the union of a deity and a human. Shunned by both races, they were forced to hide out in the secluded corners of the Earth. Until one day they came together, and started a bloody war against the humans for dominion over the Earth, which resulted in their victory. A century later, the surviving humans have gone into hiding in fear of being annihilated by the Fallen.

 Through an unusual series of events, several members of both races develop an unlikely relationship with one another.
