There was, well me. I am like you a little lost, a little different from everyone else. My name is Astarael, and I live in a kingdom where fairies and magic all exist. Where princes dance through the night, ladies fall all oversaid princes and life continues as normal. But will one chance encounter, with one prince, on a seemingly normal day change everything?

My name is Princess Annebelle Kinston. My mom and dad rule this kingdom. My brother is to be the next ruler and my sister after him. No one likes them except me. Everyone favors me but I'm the youngest. At age 16, my sister was murdered by assassins. I was in the same room as her but they just left me alone. As if they didn't see me. When I turned 17, my brother Alexon was poisoned and is still slowly dieing a year later. I was never expected to actually rule the kingdom , Kingdom of Aldron, let alone be their favorite princess. Heck, I never learned the things to rule if that helps the case. Curse & Kingdom
They invited me to their masquerade. Three cursed brothers- One a warrior. One an assassin. One a prince. I'm just an ordinary, nerdy, twenty-three-year-old girl. Previous to Ever After
Does every story end in a Happily Ever After? Let me just start off by saying that when you're a princess, no one ever actually asks you if you wan't to be a princess. You just are. Which sucks. There are rules. A lot of rules. Always look your best. Always stand up straight. Never walk flat footed. Always be polite. And never, under any circumstances, use sarcasm. Mother added that last rule after I learned to speak. This was the life I, Genevieve Rosemary Rochester of Chestwood was living. At least, I was until my father grew very, very ill and I was sent on a quest, with some boy I barely knew, clear across the land by my Fairy Godmother to locate ingredients for a potion to heal him. And yes, I have a Fairy Godmother, but more on that later. So, one shaving of a unicorn's horn. One chip from the troll's bridge. And one drop of dragon's blood. All to be mixed by the land's one and only wizard. Oh, and did I mention I had to be back with the potion before midnight in three days? And so, I began my journey with no one but William Porter, a boy whom I had just met, even though I was already betrothed to a jerk of a prince, and my trusty steed, Wesley, who was the closest thing I've ever had to a friend. Beloved "I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine"
I have always been a hopeless romantic, always daydreaming of my prince charming to come, sweep me off my feet and we would ride off into the sunset to our happily ever after. When you're a princess this type of idea could be possible but not in my case. I'm not your typical princess, yes I wear a crown, fancy dresses and like sparkles but I also love archery, riding my horse and escaping from the castle ever so often. At times I want to be able to get away from all of the responsibility and have an adventure, meet someone new, fall in love. But with a stern father, a stuck in the middle mother, crazy sisters and a captain of the guard that wont leave me alone, how can I accomplish my dreams. So what do I do? I do what I what I always do. I escape the castle walls and go to my private little spot in the forest.
