When 17 year old August Hill is told that her family is moving across the country and she isn't able to join them, her life crumbles in her hands. She is forced to move in with her older brother, and lead guitarist of the band Between The Lines, Brendan Hill. August is presented with a life changing offer, which she has to make a hard decision to keep her life the same. She meets the rest of her brother's band, and falls head over heels for the lead singer, potentially ruining her life plans.
