It was just one job.
A job that wizards Natsu and Lucy thought was simply too good to be true. A job that wasn't too far away, could have easily paid for Natsu's stomach and Lucy's rent for the next 4 months and that would, or should, have taken them no more than a couple of days. If only the universe had decided to look out for them.
The moment they boarded the train to leave Magnolia, they set themselves up for lies, deceit and pain- causing emotions to collide and feelings to sway.
