I loved you as Icarus loved the sun- too close, too much. The sun is lost, no longer in centre orbit, the light is gone. Darkness resides in hearts and in minds. Shattered beyond repair, the words we spat at the departing of light, plunging into darkness. How can you have no recollection? A freak accident, memories fading away, Pragya believed light was found. Believed her Kiara to be alive. That was years ago. Yet to her, only a day ago. The mind, a vessel beyond anyone's comprehension. It locked away what hurt the most, the memories of a haunting past that kept her awake at night. Now resurfacing in this charade they display for her sake, in this hate they conceal for her sake, in this love they pretend to have for her sake, this is the reality that should have been- if only they listened to the heart, not the mind. It's all for her, this pretence of a family they never were. This part they play, it's not theirs. Names and relations are muddled but to her, everything is where it should be. They smile brightly together, picture-perfect, yet alone cry themselves to sleep. Like Icarus desiring to conquer the sun, they burn it in. Eternally shrieking, but no one can hear. In the devoid empty darkness of the space between them. Playing this game, their sanity is fleeting and they slowly begin to fade- fading in the sun. ---Fading In The Sun--- Canon divergent. Takes place when Pragya got hit by Riya's car. ---Fading In The Sun--- Initially a One-shot but is now a story in collaboration with @shadycrazyme Beautiful cover by @shadycrazyme ---Fading In The Sun--- On hold.

"Aa hi jaata hai jispe dil aana hota hai... Har khushi se, har gham se anjaana hota hai." Some people enter your life like strangers... but your heart always knew them. Destiny has its own tune and when it plays, even the most guarded hearts must listen. Rudraansh Raichand, a powerful businessman, the heir to a multi-industry empire from luxury hotels to charitable foundations, is known for his sharp mind, ruthless ambition, and unshakable loyalty to his family. But behind the cold eyes and calm exterior lies a boy scarred by childhood tragedy. He doesn't believe in love. He doesn't believe in God. He believes in control until she walks in. Anvika Malhotra, a bubbly second-year college student, is the sunshine of her family - deeply loved, especially by her protective elder brother. A girl with her own unique dreams, a quiet strength, and a heart full of faith. A devotee of Shivji, she believes destiny always has a reason. When their worlds collide through a family connection no one expected, everything begins to change. What starts as a misunderstanding... Becomes a series of unspoken glances. A dramatic rescue. A moment where Rudraansh, wounded and bleeding, protects her without hesitation, even when they are on opposite sides of pain. Slowly, fate binds them closer. And closer. Until one day, when the walls fall, and the words finally come: "You are the reason I breathe." "Without you, I'm nothing." But what happens when fate tests them again? When heartbreak returns and belief is shattered? Will their love survive when destiny changes its tune again? Fate's Hidden Tune is a slow-burn Indian romance filled with emotional scars, soft healing, unconditional family love, and the kind of connection that makes even silence feel loud. 🌸 A story of hurt and healing, belief and betrayal, love and destiny. 💌 For those who believe some love stories are written not in words, but in fate itself.
