How much pain can one handle before it's over? How much heartbreak and mental suffering can one handle before going insane?
Every 3 or 5 months, Lorson Pace high school would send out one class to Sir M, an insane scientist who performs horrible tests on his subjects.
What happens inside the labs is a secret, and whoever survives is in terrible danger, for if they tell anyone about what happened an assassin will track them down and that's it. Doesn't make any sense, I know. The poor victims go through hell and back, just for the school to earn some extra bucks. And the police? Clueless. Thing is, this book has almost nothing to do with science. This book is about me, River Johns, and my experience in Sir M's lab along with my best friend and arch-nemesis.
