"Flower- Flowerstone Hotel and Diner, a magical house- a magical place certain to make all- all witches- all fairy's- guaranteed to make all wizards and fairy's feel at home," she mumbles the words on the front sign to herself.

Or at least, she thinks that's it. Rose has always had a terrible memory; her short-term memory and ability to remember words and times are especially bad.

---

Rose is a fifteen-year-old girl who lives mostly alone. Despite her chronic memory problems, she's pretty happy! She has a nice Hotel and Diner she takes care of, a remembering-things book to help her keep track of her life, and a best friend who loves her a lot.

Until she starts to wonder. She then becomes the most dangerous thing someone like her can be... curious.

Throughout her whole life, Rose has known two fundamental truths. Kat always leaves, and Rose always waits for her to return. But when these truths are challenged, how does she continue?
