OVERLORD | Draconic King of YGGDRASIL

Yggdrasil was a DMMO-RPG released in the year 2126 with the sole purpose of entertaining the people of Earth and distracting them from the depressing reality of their modern world. Within this critically acclaimed game existed a powerful Guild known as Ainz Ooal Gown; a unique faction made entirely of Heteromorphic players.

Throughout the years, this guild had ventured across the Nine Realms of Midgard and conquered tombs, claimed an abundance of treasures and even discovered some World-Level items scattered throughout the land.

Sadly, after twelve long years of online support from the developers, Yggdrasil was going to end. The only consistent members left within the large tomb were Momonga, the official Guild Member of Ainz Ooal Gown, and a mysterious player known as Kagayaku Akuma.

Both Momonga and Kagayaku - often called Akuma for short - waited in the Throne Room of Nazarick for their beloved DMMORPG to end, only to be left shocked and bemused when the previously mentioned shut down never occurred.
