War has raged outside the walls of Troy for the past seven years. Safe inside the royal palace, Briseis, a spirited young Trojan princess, sits back as her famous cousins, Hector and Paris, fight against the Greeks, who encroach upon Troy's borders more each day.
An ill-advised trip outside the safety of the palace leads to Briseis being captured and held hostage by the Greeks. She's put in the custody of Prince Achilles of Thessaly, a moody and impulsive young man who just happens to be the Greeks' greatest warrior. Achilles is destined to win glory and immortality but live a short and tragic life.
Briseis is given in an arranged marriage to Achilles and the two find that their union might be based on more than just politics. But when Achilles comes into conflict with the greedy and powerful, King Agamemnon, it sets off a cycle of violence and tragedy that threatens all they both care about.

30 parts Complete Mature

*All Characters are based of off Homer's great work the Illiad You have heard my name before. I am the face that launched a thousand ships. The face that destroyed a city. Many men have told the story of Helen of Troy... That is me. But they never told my true story. My real story is one no man has ever told, no man has ever heard... Until now. I was forced at the age of 15 to marry a man who brutally murdered my father before my very eyes. Beaten and raped for five years, all because I could not produce a son or heir. A heir that my husband so desparately wanted. When I became pregant at the age of 20, I knew that if I gave birth to my a daughter. My husband Menelaus would kill myself and the child. When the princes of Troy arrived in Sparta under the banner of peace. Hector and Paris did not know they would be walking into a trap, laid out by my husband. Paris fell in love with me, the moment he saw me. Most men did... My brother and I knew that we had to save them from the fate that Menelaus had planned. That was then I went into labor. My life and outlook changed when I gave birth to my daughter Hermoine. Both Trojan princes were willing to sacrifice themselves to rescue my daughter and I. Taking us to Troy... Now it is time to tell my story. Read it for yourselves and determine who the true heroes and villians are. This is my story.
