When u find comfort in expressing yourself through the selves of ur characters, for somethings are better off said by nonexistent people rather than those who do exist. I do not expect a lot of attention for this book, rather a companion for myself to pour the contents of my mind into a blank page. It will be a book, with no specific genre, no specific content, just a collection of short stories created by me, with my overly active imagination and my maladaptive daydreaming as co-writers. I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. Hey everyone! I'm excited to share that I'm working on a love story. Writing has always been a passion of mine, and this story allows me to create a world born from my imagination. The characters are entirely fictional: while I've envisioned the male lead distinctly, the female lead shares some similarities with me. This story revolves around a sweet high school romance between two top students. The male lead is an egoistic character who unexpectedly falls for a girl who often battles self-doubt and has a quick temper. I'm eager to explore how these two meet and develop a beautiful relationship filled with love and friendship, ultimately becoming each other's unrecognized source of support. I hope to bring my imagination to life through this narrative and that you will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it!

Update: The first rule of writing is to follow through and edit later. I discontinued this book because it was not well written, it was not planned out, and it was not consistent. Therefore I will continue to write it, for the sake of completion and giving Michael an end (in more ways than one) I will finish this.
