Eighteen-Year-Old Nicole Westwood lives in a small town in Alaska-she doesn't do sun or water. But after her family is killed in a car accident and custody is left to her Uncle Jay in Florida, Nicole is sent to St. Augustine, a surf town, to live with her uncle. Summer has just started and yet it already seems like its crushed. Then she meets Jacob Braxton. He is Jay's eighteen year old assistant and neighbor. He's athletic, outgoing, obnoxiously arrogant, and, well, Nicole's complete opposite. She can already feel that he is a bad idea and is planning to avoid him at all costs. However, she soon realizes there isn't much to do in this town except eat, sleep, and surf. When Jacob realizes she doesn't even know how to surf, he does the opposite of what he should: he teaches her. He is her uncle's assistant. She can't have feelings for him. Or can she?

Liam thought that the only significant event that would ever occur in his life would be his parents getting a divorce. But that's where he was wrong. Suddenly, Liam's average Australian teenage boy life is thrown up into the air when he and his mum decide to move to California. Liam finds himself with a buzzing social life that he never had before and of course, a beautiful girl living next door. Will the craziness of teenage life get in the way or will one shake be all it takes? *AUTHOR'S NOTE* I just wanted to say that I'm sorry to anyone who was waiting for me to take this story further. I feel like I hit a bit of a brick wall. I love this story, it was the first time I started writing for me and not for school. I was getting some major writer's block when it came to this story which felt weird because the creative juices had been flowing up to this point. I love this story and the characters and I finally realised that any writing I tried to force out would be really bad quality and that it could ruin the story. I do realise that this is very frustrating; I would be annoyed if someone did it to me. But I really think that in this case, less is more. I may come back to this story one day, but I make no promises. I feel like my time with Liam and Saskia has come to an end. They can enjoy their summer in peace! Basically, this is just a feel-good summer read, and I hope I've brought you some enjoyment at least. xx RomanceWriter2000 :)
