Noah Ryan is not your typical All-American Midwestern boy.  Having recently started his senior year of college, he's fighting to keep his starting spot on the Aurora Knights baseball team and balance his day to day life.  Secrets haunt his family name, one that's known well in their small town.  Having always liked to fish and just be outside, Noah spends a lot of his free time at the lake trying to get away from it all.

Emma Taylor is a big city girl with big city dreams.  Having just graduated college and looking forward to starting a career in front of the camera she never planned on moving from Los Angeles or to a small town for that matter.  Yet when her family is killed suddenly in a drunk driving accident, all she wants is to get away from it all.  Her favorite aunt lives in small town Aurora, Kansas in the Midwest causing Emma to pack up her life and move.  Since the accident, even little bodies of water scare Emma.  The trauma she keeps to herself may one day change everything.
