Elizabeth believes that somewhere, deep down, Meliodas truly loves her. She knows he does. She sees it on his better days, the ones where he wakes up with a smile and is sweet and loving and caring. But then comes the monster, his other side. He never harms her, but he isn't the most helpful either. He's possessive, controlling and domineering and often Elizabeth finds herself wondering if he ever really loved her.
