Pain. It was all the dark fluffy she-cat could feel. She felt her lungs getting clogged by water as she gulped for air, wishing that she had a RiverClan cat's prowess of swimming.
She could see a glance of the two cats on the top of gorge, and she felt herself slipping away from consciousness. The two cats were staring, then became blobs, then muddled splashes of color.
She felt herself sink, and her lungs gave out.
She was dead.
