"Do you have trouble speaking? I'll help you talk my love, there must be something stuck in your throat?" He said shoving the gun deeper, by now the base of his pistol was pressed down against my lips as I choked loudly. I screamed and jumped in fright as he pulled the trigger. Nothing, No bullets were fired. The force of the gun shook my whole body. I gargled and shook my head no repeatedly, but he wasn't satisfied. he squeezed my throat and completely blocked my airway. By now I started panicking more as I could no longer breathe, what does he want me to say?? please just stop this. "I merry gyou" I somehow managed to gargle those words out hoping he hears them. My mouth tastes like metal and I could taste blood as well, the force of the gun being shoved down my throat scratched the inside of my mouth.Complete

Why can't teenagers just be teenagers? We are young, we want to live, we want to love and be loved, we want to do crazy shit, make mistakes, break our own hearts, risk our lives and lose our money. Why? Because that's how it's supposed to be... You can't take the teenager out of us, as much as you try, and if you force them to suppress it then you create a tragedy. I was one of them once, the sort of kids you all want your children to be, quiet, respectful, scared of breaking the law, few friends, I didn't drink smoke or take drugs, and did my homework like a nice little Angel. In short I was perfect, and I absolutely hated it, I had no reason to live. But then Sam came along, he was running away- from what? I didn't really care; I just knew that if I didn't go with him, I'd die inside. We loaded his car then drove away, it was as easy, and fricking scary as that. What did we do after that? Where did we go? Oh nothing much really, just a little holiday to Mexico...Complete

I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.Complete

[COMPLETED] "Shoot," Joey mumbles, letting out a string of profanities under his breath. We turn around to find a group of men, all with guns, standing where we just came from, and they look pissed... probably because they were forced to run through this tunnel after us. "Thought you could get away, didn't you?" The man who I saw before asks. His husky voice booms in the hollow tunnel, reverberating off of the dirt walls. His voice sounds familiar, and a realization strikes me. It sounds like the man from my dream. I remember him holding a gun and wearing a blue suit, smiling evilly at me. "Leave us alone," Joey says, sounding dangerous and snapping me out of my thoughts. The levity of the situation hits-we need to get out of here. I look around for a route of escape and thankfully I see a light, literally, at the end of the second tunnel. I let out a small, almost inaudible, gasp and nudge Joey. He looks at me and I subtly gesture with my head to the second tunnel. He glances at it and immediately we are on the same page. His jaw sets and he looks at the group. The man speaks up again, chuckling darkly-a sound I will never forget and will be permanently etched into my brain, "You can thank your father for starting this mess." -------------------------- Liza was a normal teenaged girl, living the average life that an eighteen year old girl should be living. She had good friends, good grades, a happy family, a loving boyfriend, and an overall content life, seemingly having everything a person could ask for.
