Kiya Miyako ( Zoldyck) looked like an ordinary girl. She walked and talked like one, but everyone has a dark secret and she was no different. Escaping her household with her younger brother Killua, they flee far away from their childhood never to look upon it again. Bored to tears, Miyako and Killua join the 287th Hunter exam. Leaving her younger brother for a while she ends up becoming friends with a rather charming clown. Picking up on his techniques she learns how to use Nen and Bungee gum which she has immense difficulties with at first but in the end, becomes sufficient with it. After the Hunter exam Miyaka and Hisoka depart ways only to realize how much they miss eacothers company. After reunited in a rather... odd situation feelings start to bloom for both of them.

Though, as your story progresses and you near the age of 18 you find yourself thrust into totally new circumstances whilst taking the Hunter Exam... Also, Hisoka dosent call you "sissy" or "sister" anymore, instead calling you "Love". You have enough self respect that you'd never even think about dating a clown, who also happens to be your coworker, confidant, and best friend? Right? WRONG. After hearing that Killua, the little brother of Illumi Zoldyck, a friend of Hisoka's is going to take the Hunters Exam, you wanted to and told Hisoka you had a mission and won't be able to come home for a few days.
