Raina shook her head rapidly while starting to cry , as if she could shake away the terrible realisation of her friend's betrayal.
When suddenly, she started to giggle. An almost hysterical laugh was then heard from her. A mixture of pain, disbelief, and surrender.

"So we're alone," he said slowly. "That's a thoughtful observation," she whispered. She could feel her fingertips tremble slightly as they clasped around his hair.
