When the apocalypse struck, Aislynn and her family were lucky to stumble across the techno city of Redemption. Life was sweet and Aislynn grew up, sheltered from the chaos that reigned beyond the city borders.

But there is a catch.

On a person’s seventeenth birthday, they must participate in the biannual Weeding. For seven days, they’re locked out of the city to demonstrate that they are worthy to continue living as a protected citizen of Redemption.

Little does Aislynn know, the outside world is nothing like what she imagined. Her perception of the world beyond changes forever, as she discovers herself and learns things about the leaders of Redemption and the beyond world that was kept hidden.
