I would bet none of you have ever had that dream summer that all of us want.... that summer where you meet a boy on the beach and go surfing even though you don't know how to surf. I was close to tears and did not want him to see me this way. I could feel him gently pry my hands away, but I kept my eyes shut, too embarassed to face him. I drew in a sharp breath when he placed his forehead on mine, my hands locked tightly in his iron grip. "God, Sebastian. You have no idea how long I've waited to hear those words." There's this silence between us that stretches longer than it should, and it wraps around my chest like a weighted blanket. My throat tightens.
