Laure Branwell still can't get over how her closest friend, Emily Heath, replaced and left her for a new group of friends and a man. Worse, she cannot forgive those people who did bad to her in the past, especially her boyfriend, who she can't give up so easily. On the other side of the world, here is a boy named Cowan-Roe Walpole, and he desperately wants to change and do the things in his past. What torments him the most is that it's too late to do the right thing since the past is past... you cannot change it in any possible way. But why does it still feel heavy until now? In an unexpected encounter, they help each other to break the barriers that keep blocking them for 17 years from the past. Are they going to survive this world of broken promises and regrets alongside the voices in their heads echoing everyday to stop them from freeing themselves from the past? Or will they stay where they are now, and suffer because of the past?
