This is set in 2022. Covid never existed.
Everyone was up celebrating at midnight, the fact that it was about to be a new year, a new start for the world. At exactly 00:00 there was a lightning strike that was so big and bright that it was seen AND heard from Australia, Asia, and Afric; struck in the Indian ocean. A fog that was in a circular formation and several tens of kilometres thick all the way around formed just minutes after the strike happened.
(In this story the first ever dragon to exist is still alive since the gods made her immortal and is also basically a messenger for the gods of the draconian world)
P.s I do not own httyd or any of the characters from it. Please let me know if there are any other things that are copyright-able in this story.

Dragon Hunters Hunting their Lover's Dragon Soul
*This is a sequel. Sadly however, Wattpad has decided to take down the first one ( which is a reaction fanfic) because of copyright... And only decided to do this after about 1-2 years and the fic making it as #1 (Don't know how or why). It is now solely on AO3 (Archive of Our Own) along with this sequel... Sorry for any previous confusion and the inconvenience... Sequel to RTTE(Race to The Edge*On NETFLIX*) watches HTTYD(How to Train Your Dragon). (Previously) "And before anyone could even throw out a protest they disappeared in the same blinding light they came with." (Now) If one were looking at any of our previous Watchers they would find that the bright light never went out. One second the Watchers were in their places, the next they were on the floor groaning in pain. After all, Shadow did say that time was stopped, even though she didn't mention the hard landing. Maybe it was the fact all the Watchers jumped out of their seats, literally, that they fell flat on their faces. That wasn't mentioned before? Oh well, Shadow was simply in a rush to get everyone out before they themselves got mobbed. It should certainly be entertaining to see where our watchers go and what they do once they get off the floor and simply check the sky. (I do not own the HTTYD franchise. Nor is the cover picture mine. Found it on the web.)

This is my first attempt at writing fiction, so bear with me here. most httyd runaway alt timeline stories usualy follow a very simmilar style; hiccup runs, everyone thinks he dies, etc cetera. this one is gonna be a bit different from the usual runnaway stories, hopefully for the better. How would the story go if Hiccup had been taken by Cloudjumper instead of Valka? What if Hiccup was raised by the dragons, in the ice sanctuary, for twenty years? Until one day, he finds himself stuck on Berk. Discoveries are made, new friends are found, and Hiccup's life changes significantly. Will he go back home to the ice sanctuary and forget about Berk? Or will he stay to someday lead his people? ~~~ (COMPLETE ✔️) This story is a little bit of a mix of a lot of different fanfic ideas. Also I don't plan things out like most other writers.
