I stumbled blindly in the woods, lost. I was tired and I was so unsure of where I was, and where I was going. It had been days since I left our village, burned to the ground. I remembered it well. Villagers were running and screaming frantically. I watched from a distance, lost in the chaos. The raiders rushing about at insane speed, with war dogs, larger than ones I had ever seen! Some of the raiders mounted, on horseback, others running on foot. Houses burning, children screaming, corpses littering the ground ...
