Raylin spent his entire life as an outcast. Despised. Isolated. They labelled him a monster; a blight born to bring destruction. When Arian, the love of his life, is dying because of him, he will stop at nothing to procure the only cure: the blood of an undead. A myth. Accounts dismissed by the most revered scholars as mere folklore, but it remains her only hope after conventional medicine fails.

Each night he fails to save her he realizes more and more perhaps his people are right. Maybe he is a monster. Maybe he is a blight. No! he would never be what they wanted him to be. As the myths begin to prove they are no longer simple stories and Raylin cuts down countless hordes of the accursed creatures he realizes a horrible truth. The undead do not bleed.

"I...I have been nothing but trouble for you. Leave me to the same place from where you brought me." A tear rolled down her eye as she whispered in a low voice laden with despair. At that moment, he had walked to her, held her face, wiped her tears which he never liked to see. His intense blue eyes had forced her to hold his gaze. "Trouble..." Mist started surrounding me and with horror I saw the colour of the river changing to red. Moving closer, I realised it wasn't colour, it was blood. Swiftly, I tried to make my way to the Castle but the forest was endless and I was somehow, powerless. So I ran, with everything I had. On reaching the gates of the Castel, all I could see were remains of soldiers and some students. And a lone figure standing amidst all this, back facing towards me. A shiver ran down my spin. The mist had now covered the forest completely and was covering on the Castel. Suddenly the figure vanished, I looked around in an attempt to spot it back but all in vain. Just as I was about to give up, goosebumps ran on the back of my neck. Before I could turn, my hands were pinned to my back in a vice grip. My attempts to free myself stopped when I looked into a pair of red eyes. There was something familiar about them but before I could come to any conclusions, everything around me darkened and I felt myself falling. ---------------------------------------------------------- Arianna, Creation of Fate, is all set to step into her new life; molded for what is to come but when she senses something eerie in the air of Cristalline, the most protected of all the realms, she isn't sure anymore if she really is ready for what the future has in store for her. Have you ever felt the weight of betrayal, the bitter sting of a wound, the bitterness of being used, or the humiliation of trampled trust? Have you ever offered your kindness, your attention, to people who never truly deserved it? Have you ever wondered, deep within your soul, what the very reason for your existence in this world might be? If we could glimpse the traps and sufferings that life has in store for us, we might refuse to be born. That is why life, in its cruel and wise irony, deceives us. It hides its darkest truths, forcing us to move forward, unaware of the abyss before us. Today, humanity teeters on a thread as thin as destiny itself, threatened by unknown forces, wild and untamable, ready to drag it into an irretrievable fall. Portals have opened, and creatures from elsewhere, monsters escaped from forgotten nightmares, have emerged. Their presence, a harbinger of total extinction, heralds chaos. Pandora's box has been opened, and these abominations may well mark the beginning of a dark age, where humanity desperately struggles to escape its twilight.
