The twins of the royal Silverthorne family owe a certain wizard a favor. Follow Aithlin and Alinar on their adventure with Thorin's company and how they came to be an important part of middle earths history. 
This story is based in the Tolkien universe but with a few changes as well as an added race, creatures, and locations that are based off of the throne of glass series. The book will start in the time the hobbit took place. All of the grandparents, aunts and uncles as well as the parents of the mates won't have extensive backgrounds and will be in the story just for name's sake.

Bilba Baggins couldn't be happier. She's embraced her Baggins' half and has placated her Took half with a short trip to Bree (the most adventure she ever wishes to have). In addition, she is convinced Fram Harfoot, the most eligible bachelor in all of Hobbiton, will soon declare his eternal love for her - particularly after he sees the dinner she's prepared for him. Good was almost forgotten among the bleeding teeth of the orcs that plagued Mordor and the land surrounding it, or the snapping jaws of a dragon that released its fiery breath on those who held what it wanted. Reluctantly, Arielle agrees and shows up at Erebor's gates as Elen and from the moment she meets the King Under the Mountain, she knows she's in trouble. Thorin doesn't really want a valet, but his sister Dis has decided otherwise and since it's easier to give in than fight with her, a valet will soon be his. But when he meets Elen Farran, he senses something isn't quite as it should be where he's concerned.
