Diana Rothbury has had a rigorous upbringing. Her father, an ex-black-opp operative, has been beating her since she can remember, and there has been no escape until moving out at 17. However, her troubles never stopped there. Constantly running and trying to escape the abuse, Diana joins the Marines to spite her father; but it backfires when he grows more aggressive every time she comes home. So now Diana struggles between an intergalactic war and the war in her own heart. But, with the help of new friends in Way-1, the clock is ticking before Diana fears her father will succeed, and it may cost her life.
