"Stereotypical, ain't it?" Jake muttered again. Mike nodded in agreement. "They just had to call and report the spooky noises coming from the spooky house, didn't they?" Jake whined. Mike snorted and shook his head, "Come on, let's get this over with." They clicked their flashlights on and trudged up the creaky steps wearily. The front door was moldy and horribly chipped, and when Mike raised his hand and knocked mildew stuck to his hand. He wrinkled his nose in disgust and wiped it on his pants.
[Gonna be posting some old works from wayyy back when I was in Highschool. This was the short story I wrote for my Creative Writing class before we did our longer story. Beware: it's old writing so it's gonna be a hard read.]

The Darkness of Beasts and Men
This is a short story about a young man and an incident he (somewhat) overcomes. This is a werewolf story, yes, but not a cliche-d one I hope, as it includes much more unhappiness and gore and such. There is no swearing, no nasty in-bed stuff, but there is gore. I mean, animal-mauling-blood-everywhere gore. Sorry, but in a werewolf reality, it would be rather dark and disturbing. If you do not like those things, please do not read for your own sake. Other than that, mild humor included. No idea if I'm going to write another story with the same sort of people or not, so I will get back to you later about that. Anyways, have fun and good luck. All characters' names and characteristics and fiction, I did not take them directly off somebody, so in cases of coincidence where you or someone you know looks like a character, my apologies, but I swear I didn't look up people and write their description. Decadent
My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut. I don't hear footsteps...but as the minutes go by I begin to hear them; the footsteps get louder and louder and louder, matching the sound of my thundering heart. That's when I see his shadow cast over the ditch...over the place where I tried to hide. "Well," he says with a smile in his voice. "I wonder where he could've gone...the footprints stop here...so I wonder if he just...disappeared?" My body begins to tremble. I can feel it now. The pain. I can feel the pain already. He jumps down into the ditch...he stands directly in front of me, with his back facing me. My hand presses harder against my mouth as I try to suppress my whimper, but it's way too late now. But his body tenses up when he hears it. He laughs bitterly as he turns around slowly, and his eyes cut through my camouflage easily. "There you are."Complete

Falling For Jeff
Harper is 19 and fresh out of high school. With a low paying job and still living with her mom and sister. She doesn't lead an exciting life. Always at home relaxing in her room. One night, while taking out the trash she hears a strange sound by the garage. A/N: People seem to think that this is a werewolf story and adding it to their werewolf reading list, it's not, it does have some werewolves in it but they aren't the main characters or species. ~ He looks at me with his mismatched eyes, they're cold and angry, not much of a surprise there. He is leaning against his table, his arms crossed as well as his legs, yeah he is angry alright. "You've been avoiding me" He glares at me, well great he figured me out. I shrug and don't say anything. He growls "What the fuck did I say about using your goddamn words Noah?" I smile sarcastically...and I shrug. His face contorts, uh oh he's going beastie, he pushes off his desk and stalks his way over to me and pushes me against the wall with one of his giant hands on my throat. "You best not forget who the fuck I am you little shit, just because we're mates doesn't mean I'm gonna let you disrespect me like that" He presses down on my jugular and lifts up me giving me no choice but to wrap my legs around him so he doesn't completely take me away from air. "I've known you your whole life babygirl, I know your weakness" He whispers in my ear, he moves my head to the side and finds his mark, he kisses it. Motherfucker.Complete
FATE BEYOND THE NIGHTMARES
Kelvin was hunted by scary nightmares throughout his whole life but what could be scarier than to discover that the nightmares are actually his reality, not just that but he also has a destiny to fulfill. ******************************************** EXCERPT His mind was awoke but not his body, it looked like he was having sleep paralysis but deep inside he was struggling for his life. The same frequent nightmare. He was back in the familiar forest, all the settings were same but today was different. Kelvin was on his heels while the beast after him. He had seen the beast set a local hut that obviously had people inside it on fire, the agonizing cries filled the forest hunting his sanity and before long blood started oozing out of the hut. Kelvin was so frightened that he couldn't help a scream escaping his mouth and that's how the beast noticed him. The run was long and torturous for Kelvin, for reasons he can't tell his body was heavy and difficult to move and the creature was getting closer with each passing seconds. They continued racing racing until Kelvin lost it, he halted to catch his breath but then he saw the same creature in his front with an evil smirk on its face showing his big fangs, his elongated nails were dripping with blood. " No matter how long you run, you can't run away from me. It's your destiny that I shall destroy you and then there will be no more prophecy! The beast continued with a smirk as he comes closer bit by bit. The moment Kelvin tried to run again it stretched his hand and grabbed his shoulder pinching him with the sharp nails...
