Ival turned back around to make his drink, leaving Val to his thoughts for a moment. He tapped his foot restlessly against the wooden floor and then pulled out the book hooked onto his belt to wait. It didn't take Ival long to finish his drink, and when she did he picked it up with a small 'thank you' and then turned around to survey the rest of the inn. There were a fair amount of people here tonight. Most were absorbed in their own conversations and drinks, although there seemed to be some sort of intense game going on in the far corner of the room that he watched curiously for a moment. [Wrote this a few years ago as a prologue to a D&D character for a campaign that never ended up happening. I still hold a lot of love for this particular character, cause me and my dm (now roomie<3) went ALL out on the world building and character stories. Also, I never did finish writing this story which is why it ends so abruptly. Might do so one day, but for now have this unfinished story.]All Rights Reserved
