I was all alone. My parents had died in the sinking. I'm pretty sure they thought I died with them while trying to escape. I'm not sure if Uncle Jack and Aunt Rose made it out alive, but if they did, I'd know what to do. I have been living on the streets for the past year, I have been to many stores and once I told them my story they gave me food, Possibly because I'm a kid.

I was drowning. I knew that. I also knew that the hands around my throat, pushing me deeper into the river water was the cause. What I didn't know was who was drowning me and why. It hurt thinking. My hair was straight above me along with my arms. My eyes were open and the water burned. A darkness started to pull me under, taking the pain away.
