If Lindsey Ballato, a realist, stubborn, not easily lovestruck, could be presented with one dream-come-true, it'd be to make a change in the world. But changing the world does not happen overnight, and neither does change. However, when one of Lindsey's best friends, Steve Montano has an idea to start a band, and maybe change the world on the way, Lindsey is hesitant. It's not easy, especially with her limited musical skills. After some pleading from her friends, Lindsey finally agrees and gets swept into the world of music. When Lindsey agreed to be the bassist in a small band, she was expecting drunk nights of coming up with bad song lyrics, a few miserable shows at local pubs and a painful break-up after mere months of playing. What Lindsey was not expecting, was changing the world. Well, the world of one very specific person from a very specific starting band from a very specific neighboring state. Somewhere along the way of learning what it's like to make music, dealing with family issues, trying to make it in the world of show business and growing up, Lindsey finds something she never expected to find; love.
