But Odin has never been known for mercy. And when a battle rages between Frost giants and Asgardians, Haldor is captured and used for a slave in the Asgardian palace.
At a annual ball, servants are Recognized, and as inexperienced as she is, Haldor is chosen.
She's meant to work for Thor, but what happens in the heart of the frozen prince that makes him want to have her?
What could possibly be different about her?
As Hal struggles with her past, Loki is determined to help her create a future.
But everything comes with a price, and will Loki have to pay it?
In a battle of drama and love, Haldor must choose what, and who, is best for her, her friends and the kingdom.
