The war is still going on but Peeta was not taken by the Capital and is in District 13 along with everyone else. Katniss and Peeta are in love but istead of being saved along with everyone else Katniss was taken by the Capital. Katniss is sisters with Johanna but not many people know it because she started yo use the last name Everdeen after her sister was reaped in hopes of escaping the trials that come with being loved by a victor. Snow eventually captures and attempts to hijack her but she fights back.
