Sunghoon's voice was low but sure as his hand slid to Sunoo's waist, pulling him in for a deep, unapologetic kiss. Sunoo didn't resist-but he didn't kiss back either.
His eyes, wide and stormy, flicked up-straight to Niki.
Niki stood frozen a few feet away, like someone had reached inside his chest and yanked his heart out with their bare hands. His face was dry, but his eyes-God, his eyes-held everything. Shock. Hurt. Betrayal. Something breaking.
Sunoo wrenched himself away from Sunghoon, breath sharp, and *crack*-his palm met Sunghoon's cheek with a sound that sliced the silence clean in half.
Sunghoon didn't flinch. He grinned.
"I'm blessed your hand touched my filthy cheek."
*Smack.* Another slap, harder this time. It rang out across the parking lot.
Sunoo's hands were shaking, eyes glassy, but his fury burned through the tears.
And then-he pulled Sunghoon in.
Fingers curled tight at Sunghoon's waist, Sunoo kissed him like his heart had been set on fire. Desperate. Furious. Raw. Tears spilled down both their cheeks, silent but unrelenting, as if neither could figure out whether they were mourning or healing.
