Like most greasers, Tim Shepard has better things to do than sit around all day at Will Rodgers High. But like all greasers, luck is never on his side. The same guy known throughout Tulsa for being three steps ahead finds himself thrown into the middle of the unexpected. From fighting at school dances to seeing his father for the first time since he was arrested, Tim doesn't know where the surprises will end.
The biggest surprise of all goes through the halls of Will Rodgers, wearing her brother's hand-me-downs like a dress.
