Written in the Stars [H.S]

This is not your typical love story. In fact, I don't think there is much of a love story here after all. This is a story of how my heart was owned by someone else, someone I always thought would be the "one". Then I realized the cold, hard truth. There's no such thing as, the "one". That's only in fairy tales. There is no such thing as fate, only life.

This story will break your heart, like it did mine. But I hope you can learn something from me...and that is to protect your heart. Don't let yourself get wrapped up in the romance because before you know it, it will be ripped away from you. You will be in a dark room, alone with your thoughts and they will eat you alive. They will haunt you for days, months, even years.

I know I sound cynical, but how can I not be after what I've been through. You'll see what I mean. But in order for you to understand my story, we have to start from the beginning. Let's go back to the day I was born.
